Challenge
MedLynx's legacy patient portal failed Core Web Vitals on mobile, dropped appointment bookings, and could not support Hindi-speaking patients without a separate microsite.
Solution
Phased Laravel + React rebuild with a shared design system, appointment schema, WCAG audits, and bilingual flows — weekly demos from Greater Noida with overlapping US hours.
MedLynx came to Shriram IT Ventures after their previous agency delivered a portal that looked fine in demos but failed the first busy Monday — slow mobile loads, broken Hindi content, and appointment flows that patients abandoned mid-form.
We rebuilt on Laravel + React with a design system Yash and Praveen could keep consistent. Appointment pages got MedicalBusiness schema, WCAG 2.2 AA fixes, and Hindi/English content in one codebase — not a bolt-on subdomain.
Satyendra ran weekly demos with MedLynx\'s VP Product; Shruti kept milestones visible. Vikas set Core Web Vitals budgets enforced in CI. The phased rollout moved traffic journey-by-journey so live bookings never went dark.
The legacy system couldn’t expose clean APIs without brittle screen scraping that broke every other release.
A strangler migration moved traffic journey-by-journey with dual-run checks so nobody flipped a big red switch on Friday.
